Wendy Murdoch, an internationally acclaimed equestrian author, instructor, and clinician with more than 23 years of experience and the originator of the SURE FOOT Horse Stability Program, teaches her pupils how to accomplish what great riders do effortlessly. Wendy's passion to understand the functions of both the horse and the human, as well as her love of teaching, allows her to use the most up-to-date learning theories to train riders how to go above and beyond their own expectations. Wendy was in a serious riding accident in 1984 while pursuing her master's degree in horse reproductive physiology. Her desire to comprehend and solve the question of how to bike pain-free while using the body as it was created began with her self-rehabilitation. Wendy is one of a kind because of her amazing ability to find and study with the top individuals in a range of professions, as well as her insatiable curiosity.

Sally Swift was her mentor, and she had significant instruction from Linda Tellington-Jones, Dr. Joyce Harman, Jon Zahourek (Anatomy in Clay(R)), and Dr. Hilary Clayton. Wendy became a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner(R) to help her guide students toward greater function, and she continues her studies with Mia Segal, Dr. Feldenkrais' first assistant. Her curiosity with the horse-rider mind-body link has driven her to take courses outside of the equine field and share what she has learned with her pupils. Wendy combines her artistic ability with her scientific knowledge to simplify complex riding ideas into simple, easy-to-follow activities for students of all ages, abilities, and disciplines.

Her ability to make learning entertaining, engaging, and exciting through in-depth, easy-to-understand presentations, both mounted and unmounted, assists her students in connecting the dots and achieving their objectives. Wendy is a regular contributor to Eclectic Horseman magazine and publishes articles for a range of publications. 40 Jumping Repairs, Simplify Your Riding, and the Ride Like a Natural Part 1-3 DVD series are among her works.
