The feel-good place to buy books
The Doodle Revolution by Sunni Brown
A fearless guide to awakening your mind using simple visual language. What do Einstein, Edison, Richard Feynman, Henry Ford, and JFK have in common? Like virtually all heavy-hitting thinkers, they looked beyond just words and numbers to get intellectual and creative insights. They actively applied a deceptively simple tool to think both smarter and faster: the doodle. And so can the rest of us-zero artistic talent required. Visual thinking expert Sunni Brown has created The Doodle Revolution as a kick-starter guide for igniting and applying simple visual language to any challenge. The instinctive and universal act of doodling need only be unleashed in order to innovate, solve problems, and elevate cognitive performance instantly.Sunni Brown, M.P.A., is the founder of BrightSpot Info Design, a firm that uses visual thinking to help organizations and groups succeed. Sunni received her graphic facilitation training at The Grove Consultants International, a San Francisco-based firm that was a pioneer in the use of visuals in meetings and group processes. She is presently a Grove Associate, a freelance consultant for XPlane (the visual thinking firm), and an Alphachimp Studios Associate. She is also the co-founder of VizThink Austin, the United States' largest visual thinking community. Sunni gives talks on graphic facilitation, graphic recording, and visual thinking on a regular basis.
Nancy Duarte's future book on storytelling and presentations will include her as a contributing researcher. Sunni graduated from the Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs with bachelor's degrees in journalism and linguistics and a master's degree in public affairs. She is based in Austin, Texas.
