Best of British by Cico Books
From San Francisco to Shanghai, any mention of Britain immediately conjures up images of bowler hats, cricket and cups of tea. So how has this tiny island managed to leave such an indelible Wellington-boot-shaped imprint on world history? Best of British is a humorous look at all the idiosyncrasies, affectations, quirks and foibles that have made Britain into the nation it is today. Whether it's the Royal Family or the Swinging Sixties, the constant rain or a full English breakfast, this insight into what makes Brits tick is a musthave for any Britophile.
