A.P.J. Abdul Kalam by Arun Tiwari

The definitive biography of India's most loved leader and scientist

Aeronautical engineer, rocket scientist, missile man, visionary, teacher and the most inspiring head of state in living memory - Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was all these and more. Unquestionably the most revered Indian leader since Mahatma Gandhi, he transcended all the boundaries and obstacles that came his way in the course of a remarkable life; and he did so with grace and humility.

Arun Tiwari tells Dr Kalam's life story with a deep understanding of his formative experiences and character and reveals him as a man personifying all the glory and paradoxes of his nation: secular and religious; exalted and humble; schooled and unaffected; dynamic and calm; scientific and spiritual - an Indian above all.

In the year 1955, Arun Tiwari was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He graduated from G.B. with a master's degree in mechanical engineering. In 1982, he graduated from Pant University and began working as a missile scientist at the Defence Research and Development Laboratories (DRDL) in Hyderabad. Prof. At the DRDL, Prof. Tiwari invented the first titanium air bottle in India, which was used in the Tirshul and Akash missiles.

In the year 1992, Prof. Dr. Kalam selected Tiwari as the DRDO's program head to produce civilian spin-offs of defense technologies for the benefit of the general public. In the year 1996, Prof. With the help of cardiologist Dr. B. Tiwari, Tiwari created India's first coronary stent.

Kalam-Raju Stent is Soma Raju's moniker. Arun Tiwari, a member of President Abdul Kalam's team, established the first link of Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL)'s Pan-Africa e-Network. The network currently connects colleges and hospitals all over Africa with their equivalents in India. Wings of Fire, Dr. A.P.J.'s autobiography, was written by Arun Tiwari in 1999.

Abdul Kalam is now considered a modern classic. Arun Tiwari is an adjunct professor at the University of Hyderabad's School of Management Sciences.
