Looks at the UK's kit-car scene documents over 1,500 different vehicles, including the successes and the failures, the perennial survivors and the short-lived, the good, the bad and the ugly.Steve Hole is a member of the Guild of Motoring Writers and resides in Warlingham, Surrey, with his partner Carol. Steve, who is now one of the UK's leading kit and specialized vehicle journalists, grew up near the Trojan factory and used to walk past it twice a day on his way to and from school: line-ups of bubblecars and Elvas sparked his imagination from an early age. Steve began his kit car writing career in 1984 with Kit Cars & Specials magazine, and has since worked for or contributed to a number of other similar publications. In 2001, he co-created Sportscar magazine, and later founded www.totalkitcar.com, a weekly webzine, and TKC Magazine, which he now edits and publishes. Kit vehicles are the focus of his third book. In 2014, Steve received a nomination for a Special Interest Magazine award.
