The Actress Within, Reflections on Grief by Jean Hill

Jean was born in 1943. Her play-ground was the bomb-sites of London. She attended a Secondary Modern School before being sent, at the age of 14, to Secretarial College in Ealing. At 16 she met Robin who was doing his National Service. They were married 18 months later and in 1968 moved to Wokingham and became the proud parents of two daughters. After sixty years together Robin succumbed to cancer in September 2019 and this book is written in his memory. It is intended to support those newly bereaved and to help those supporting the bereaved to understand. It is a book of intense passion and shared emotion. Jean has always loved writing and has previously had her poems and articles published in magazines and newspapers. Following the success of her books 'The Sting In The Tale', 'The Barb In The Rhyme', 'The Thorn In The Verse', 'The Lyric In The Lines' and 'Let's Smile Again', she has become a regular guest speaker at various social events and has broadcast many of her poems on Radio Berkshire.
Hill, Jean: - Now deceased, Jean Hill was a Dallas schoolteacher. One of the closest witnesses to the assassination of President Kennedy, she was only feet away from the presidential limousine and she later gave her highly controversial testimony before the Warren Commission.
