Laura Elliot was born in the Irish city of Dublin. She lives in Malahide, a charming coastal hamlet on Dublin's north side. The Wife Before Me, The Thorn Girl, Sleep Sister, Stolen Child, The Prodigal Sister, Fragile Lies, and The Betrayal are among Laura Elliot's novels. She has also written twelve books for children and young adults under the name June Considine. Her short stories have been published in several teen anthologies and broadcast on the radio. She's also been a journalist and a magazine editor in the past.
