Matt Te Pou ended eleven years as the New Zealand Maori coach in 2005. Few people have wielded greater influence over Maori rugby than this former army officer. Matt McIllraith has been communications officer for the New Zealand Rugby Union, the All Blacks and the New Zealand Maori team and is the former editor of Rugby News.
