Stephanie Cole is a well-known author in the mystery genre. She was nominated for an Edgar and an Agatha award for her work as Shelley Costa, and she cofounded the Northeast Ohio branch of Sisters in Crime. In the Cleveland region, she teaches creative writing workshops and gives talks on American literature. She enjoys taking violin lessons and studying Art History, and she keeps an watch on both for murder schemes.
