P. Charles Charles P. Charles P. Charles P. Pat McKeague graduated with a B.A. His bachelor's degree is in mathematics from California State University, Northridge, and his master's degree is in mathematics. Brigham Young University awarded him a bachelor's degree in mathematics. He is a full-time writer and a part-time instructor at Cuesta College. He is a well-known author and renowned educator.

He has written twelve mathematics textbooks on themes ranging from basic mathematics through trigonometry. Professor McKeague is a frequent speaker at regional conferences such as the California Mathematics Council for Community Colleges, the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the Texas Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges, and the New Mexico Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges, among others.
