Naoko Stoop's love for drawing began when she was a small child growing up in Japan. Naoko now lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Uses a variety of materials, including sanded wood and marron-colored paper bags as a lienzo. He's shown his work in a variety of galleries and shops in New York, and he hopes that via his art, he might inspire the children we all have at home. Red Knit Cap Girl, her first illustrated book, was named one of the best illustrated children's books by the New York Times in 2012.
