All Dogs Go to Heaven by Suzanne Elizabeth Anderson
Henry was the first Newfoundland dog I adopted from rescue. Then there was Georgie, Charlie, Kiki and now Buddy. With Henry's passing, Kiki and Buddy are a new generation of adopted Newfoundland dogs sharing my home. Ten years of rescued dogs, who have actually rescued me more times than I can count.I never quite decided to write a book of essays about my dogs. That is, until I realized they were often central characters in the faith column I write for the Summit Daily News. Which makes sense, since living alone isn't a valid description of life with two or more 150-pound dogs. This insight made me think more about what my dogs have taught me over the years and how they've made me a better person. And they've helped me to understand what God wants me to know about being a better person.
Suzanne Elizabeth Anderson was born in Fort Lauderdale, attended the University of Michigan on an athletic scholarship for swimming, and then worked on Wall Street. She left the bright lights of the big city fifteen years ago and traveled the world. Suzanne now lives in the mountains of Colorado, with three very large Newfoundland dogs, and pursues her dream of writing books.
