Chris Enss is a New York Times bestselling author who has spent more than 20 years writing about women in the Old West. She has written more than 40 books on the subject, all of which have been published. Five Will Rogers Medallion Awards, two Elmer Kelton Book Awards, an Oklahoma Center for the Book Award, and a Western Writers of America Spur Finalist have all been bestowed upon her work. NBC has optioned her book The Pinks: The First Women Detectives, Operatives, and Spies with the Pinkerton National Detective Agency, and it is currently in development as a television series.
