Rick Darke is a landscape designer, author, lecturer, and photographer located in Pennsylvania who uses art, ecology, and cultural geography to create and conserve living environments. Scenic byways, public gardens, corporate and academic campuses, mixed-use conservation schemes, and residential gardens are just a few of his designs. Darke worked at Longwood Gardens for twenty years and was awarded the American Horticultural Society's Scientific Prize. The New York Times and National Public Radio have both covered his work.
