Linda grew up in Long Beach, California, and attended Cal State Long Beach. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Huntington Beach, Big Bear Lake, and Tucson, Arizona, where she now lives with her 37-year-old husband, Rob. Lacey is their only child, and they have two grandchildren, Mason, 4, and Riley, 2. Her novels are motivated by her passion for children and their imaginative play.
