Brad along with his wife Lori (The girl the book is about) operate an equine facility, Painted Acres, in Northeast Pennsylvania. Not being particularly fond of labels, if needed he describes what he is and does regarding horses as being a Gentler. Using methods and philosophies in the treating and training of horses that are natural to them, discarding the unnecessary use of fear, pain and intimidating.
