Aqua Boy by Ken Wilson-Max

Island boy Aaron loves the sea. But he’s a bit scared of going under the water. Then one day Aaron finds an octopus stranded on the beach. And as he helps Dad return it to the water, something amazing happens… a moment of magic between the boy and the octopus. Can Aaron lose his fear and go underwater? Maybe now he can help look after the sea creatures and be… Aqua Boy!

"Gentle yet powerful conservation story"

-- The Bookseller

"Touching on themes of stewardship, courage and environmentalism, this bright seaside adventure evokes the senses while highlighting humanity’s responsibility to look after the oceans."

* Inclusive Books for Children *

"This timely, gentle tale of environmental guardianship with Ken Wilson-Max’s vibrant scenes that portray both family love and the vital role ocean guardians play, will, one hopes, highlight to young children the importance of caring for marine life and ensuring that they play their part by taking their rubbish home as well as helping to keep beaches clean."
