Rita Taylor is a self-taught knitter who has been designing for more than twenty-five years. Having cultivated a lifelong interest in traditional knitting styles and their social history, she is passionate about preserving and promoting traditional skills and heritage crafts. As a keen cyclist and artist, she gets much inspiration for her work from the countryside around her.
