Tom Oldfield is a freelance sports writer specialising in football. He has written for several national newspapers and magazines. A graduate of the University of Nottingham, he is a lifelong football fan and played many years of youth football. This is his third book. He is also the author of Gary Neville: The Story of a Legend and Cristiano Ronaldo: The True Story of the Greatest Footballer on Earth, published by John Blake Publishing.
