Art Book Flora by Asuka Tada

Kneecaps made from sunflowers, ribs from green leaves, and arched rows of pink roses making a shape of a skull--this stunning collection presents the unique images of skeletons made from pressed flowers. The author, Asuka Tada, felt bones were the essence of a woman and tried to reproduce them with flowers, which have been often associated with women.
This figure skeleton was first used for an ad campaign for funeral parlor, and Tada won an award. She self-published 500 copies of this collection by crowdfunding, which sold out very quickly and this was one of the most sought-after titles in art bookstores.
Tada, Asuka: - Asuka Tada is a graphic designer from Chiba, Japan. She started creating pressed flower skeleton when she was a student of Musashino Art University. After graduation, she continues her art works as well as working as an art director at an advertising company.
