Aspects of Biography by Andre Maurois
Originally published in 1929, this book contains an analysis of biography writing based on six lectures delivered at Trinity College, Cambridge, in May 1928. Maurois does not go into the history of biography writing, but focuses instead on biography as a means of expression and art as well as science.
