Babushka by Sandra Ann Horn

In this festive Russian folktale, Babushka travels to Bethlehem to meet a very special baby. Along the way, she gives away all of her girts, arriving at the stable empty-handed. Sut there she learns the most important lesson of all - the more you give away in love, the more you receive.
'Illustrated beautifully, this [Russian] fable offers an alternative to the traditional Christmas story, an is an interesting way to introduce children to international perspectives on the festive season' - Five to Eleven
Sandra Ann Horn was a clinical psychologist until 1992, when she moved to Southampton University to set up and run the Master of Science programme in Health Psychology. Sophie Fatus is a full-time illustrator and sculptress, who studied at the prestigious Academy of Fine Art in Paris.
