Ivan Tyrrell has been Director of the European Studies institute since 1993. He is Managing Director of MindFields. College - specialists in training professional therapists and counsellors, and is co-founder of the Human Givens Foundation. He is the author of numerous books including The Survival Option (Jonathan Cape) and a regular contributor of papers to leading medical journals.
