Bad Bear by Colin Hawkins
Bad Bear finds an outlaw costume and dresses up like Desperate Dog. He rushes out to terrorise the neighbourhood, spraying everyone with his water pistols and using Mrs. Cow's washing line as a lasso! He is banned from everywhere except the cinema, where he sees a film about a super hero.
Colin and Jacqui Hawkins both trained in graphic design at art college. Colin decided to take up writing children's books in the early 1980's because he 'wanted to make children's books funnier'.
