Bean There Done That by Bruce Dessau
This is a fully illustrated, affectionate celebration of Rowan Atkinson's career, published to coincide with the film "Mr Bean". Atkinson first came to prominence in "Not The Nine O'Clock News" and his natural acting ability set him up to achieve huge success as Blackadder in one of the BBC's most popular comedy series. In the 1980s he created "Mr Bean" with Richard Curtis, the latter going on to write the "Mr Bean" film.
Bruce Dessau is one of the elite band of comedy journalists whose work came to the attention of the public in the late 1980s. He has contributed reviews and features to many publications including Time Out, The Guardian, and The Evening Standard and was a Perrier Award Judge in 1994 and 1995.
