Collaborations on the best-selling Black Sunday (with Thomas Harris), Ritual of Expiation, and the drama Middleman Out are among Dick Riley's novels and plays. He is a resident of White Plains, New York. Pam McAllister is the author of eight volumes, including three in Continuum's Bedside, Bathtub, and Armchair Companion series on Shakespeare (2001), Sherlock Holmes (1999), and Agatha Christie (1979), which she co-authored with Dick Riley. Death Defying: Dismantling the Execution Mechanism in the Twenty-First Century United States of America is one of her other novels. (Continuum, 2003) on the abolition of capital punishment, as well as two volumes on women's nonviolent activism for social justice.

She edited Reweaving the Thread of Life: Feminist and Nonviolence (New Society Publishers) in 1982, which was hailed by the Village Voice as one of the most significant books you'll ever read. She currently contributes to The Progressive Christian magazine as a columnist.
