Being Tommy Cooper by Tom Green

Las Vegas 1954: Tommy Cooper faces the prospect of his first big failure. As personal and professional problems collide, he faces stark choices about the future.
"Brave in its mission, Being Tommy Cooper is a slick, emotive and thoroughly entertaining portrait of one of the most popular comics of the 20th century" British Theatre Guide "The play is full of great comedy but also some high drama...a must see for fans of Cooper." WhatsOnStage "Highly recommended ... a thought-provoking portrayal of a man who will always be loved by millions, yet wasn't quite what he seemed." Blackpool Gazette "A fascinating insight into how one man can simultaneously be a national hero and his own worst enemy" York Press

For more than two decades, Tom Green, a journalist, writer, and video producer, has been reporting on and producing programming on technology. Green is the creator, publisher, and editor in chief of Asian Robotics Review, which he founded in 2017. He previously founded and served as the founding editor in chief of Robotics Business Review (an EH Publishing brand) from 2012 to 2016. Green has spoken at national and international robots events and conferences; he has been interviewed on robotics by Barron's, The Wall Street Journal, Swissquote, and CNN Money, among others; and he works as a robotics consultant and adviser to startups and multinational corporations.

He formerly worked as a TV writer/producer for WCVB-TV, Channel 5, in Boston, where he developed and produced the news show Lifelines and was the lead writer of the weekly sitcom Park Street Under. His work has received two Emmy nominations. His theatrical pieces were performed at Boston's Next Move Theatre and then adapted for National Public Radio as radio dramas. In the Room the Ladies Come and Leave, a UNICO national short story award was given to Green.

For eleven years, Green had his own video production company, producing videos for corporations, broadcast, and cable television. Bright Boys: The Creation of Information Technology (Taylor & Francis, 2010) is his best-selling book on Amazon.
