The Belfry Witches by Kate Saunders
Meet Old Noshie and Skirty Marm - the naughtiest witches in the world. Together they always spell trouble! Old Noshie and Skirty Marm have committed a terrible crime. They've sung a frightfully rude song about the Queen of the Witches at the Hallowe'en Ball. Now they are to be banished from Witch Island for ever! But where can they go? The sleepy village of Tranters End is about to become home to two wacky witches, a wonderfully snooty cat - and a whole lot of trouble! Three extremely funny books, now in one bumper volume!
Kate Saunders worked as an actress until she was twenty-five and then became a writer. She is the author of six novels for adults and has edited one collection of short stories. For children, she has written the very successful BELFRY WITCHES series on which a major BBC TV series was based, and CAT AND THE STINKWATER WAR, described as 'lively and delightful' by The Times. As a journalist she has worked for the Sunday Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Independent and the Sunday Express, and she can also be heard regularly on Radio 4. She lives with her family (and three cats) in London.
