F. B. Meyer was a pastor in York, Leicester and Regent's Park, London during the latter part of the nineteenth century. His congregations were large, with over 800 members in Melbourne Leicester; he also undertook prison visitation and social action to help the underpriveliged. In addition to his pastoral work he preached regularly at the Keswick Convention. Meyer, Fb: - Frederick Brotherton Meyer (1840-1929) was a well-known and gifted pastor and author. His evangelistic tours took him to South Africa, Asia and North America even when he was 80. He spent the last years of his working life as a pastor in England's churches and wrote over 40 books.
