Beyond Good and Evil by Michael Hannan
Beyond Good and Evil is the first novel in the series of the same name. It tells the story of the ingenious theft of six Picasso masterpieces along with two of fellow cubist Georges Braques' from a museum in Sweden, their journey across Europe, and their pursuit by Gandalf Dalin, the Wizard, Rikspolisstyrelsen (Swedish National Police), Interpol, Special Branch of the Police Service of Northern Ireland, the FBI, and Kelly O'Neill. Perhaps of more interest, however, it tells the story how Keagan and Kelly - two former IRA fundraisers; Niles - a former captain in 14 Int, Unit 22 of the SAS, who once tried to capture Keagan and Kelly; and Teal - a Cajun, on the lam from south Lu-zee-ana with his ten-year old daughter all came together at an inn in Lake Placid called Beyond Good and Evil.
