Ohles of Private Colleges and Universities (Greenwood, 1982) and Public Colleges and Universities (Greenwood, 1986), and research associate in the preparation of the Biographical Dictionary of American Educators (Greenwood, 1978).

JOHN G. RAMSAY is Professor of Educational Studies and Coordinator of the Learning and Teaching Center at Carleton College. He has published in numerous journals.
