Home to the world's highest salt lake and loftiest capital city, extreme highs is what you would expect to find in this updated edition. This is the real Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid territory, with adventures to be found for travellers who fancy retracing the steps of the infamous Wild West outlaws. This handbook to Bolivia features an action packed adventure section on mountaineering, trekking, skiing, and mountain biking and also offers expanded coverage of suggested hiking routes. Along with eco tourism developments the guide includes comprehensive coverage of the country's numerous national parks including the Parque Nacional Amboro.
