Michael Fordham is a freelance writer and associate editor at a variety of surf journals. He has been features editor at Dazed & Confused and launched his own award-winning magazine, Adrenalin. Michael began surfing as a teenager at Sydney's northern beaches. In pursuit of his surfing obsessions be has braved mortar shells in El Salvador and has paddled through the barbed-wire beaches of Gaza. Michael has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the culture of wave riding and is one of surfing's most passionate and articulate voices.
