Having met Rosie Brown and her mum for the first time on a returning coach trip from Barcelona to a cruise ship in 2024, I felt this 13-year-old's journey from birth in 2012 needed to be told.

Born on Valentine's Day with serious physical difficulties, the problems she has had to cope with have been significant.

Her loving family has supported and encouraged her development throughout her forming years, taking her from almost insurmountable difficulties that most would have found to be insupportable, to being an example of a wonderful human being who has never given up.

From considerable difficulties in her educational life, she has reached the pinnacle of an existence that has brought both her and her close family significant satisfaction and joy.
