Andrew Bibby is a writer and journalist whose journalism has appeared in the British narional press and whose previous books on landscape issues, travel and the outdoors include Backbone of England: Landscape and Life on the Pennine Watershed, and Back Roads through Middle England. A member of the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild, he says his aim is to celebrate the beauty of the British countryside by interpreting why it looks the way it does.
