She has illustrated more than 20 books for children, including the bestselling Escape from Pompeii. Her first book for Otter-Barry Books was The Corinthian Girl. She is a past winner of the English Association Book Award for Key Stage 2 Non Fiction, and the US Parents Guide to Children’s Media Award. Christina works initially in pencil and then paints her artwork in a combination of watercolours, gouache and gold inks. She lives in Kent, England.
