The three Brontë sisters – Anne, Charlotte and Emily – moved to Haworth Parsonage as children in 1820. Ann Dinsdale is the librarian of the Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth, West Yorkshire, home of the world's largest collection of Bronteana. She writes and lectures on aspects of the Brontës' lives and has a particular interest in social conditions in mid-19th-century Haworth.
