Stanley B.Lippman works for Microsoft's Visual C++ development team as an architect. He previously worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) as a Distinguished Consultant. Stan spent more than a decade at Bell Labs, where he worked on the initial C++ implementation and the Foundation research project with Bjarne Stroustrup. Stan worked with Disney Feature Animation after Bell Labs, first as a principal software engineer, then as the software technical director on Fantasia 2000.
