Akira and his classmates are on a plane heading back home after a school trip abroad. Suddenly the plane crashes on a mysterious island - Akira is somehow still alive despite the crash, yet he soon finds that he's not really safe. Enormous beasts are chasing after him - beasts which are supposed to be extinct! Akira begins to find other classmates who have also survived the crash.
