Denise Szecsei graduated from the University of Redlands with bachelor's degrees in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. She worked as a technical instructor in the United States for four years. She served in the Navy before earning a doctorate in mathematics from Florida State University. She has been teaching since 1985 and is currently employed at Stetson University as a Mathematics instructor. Homework Helpers: Algebra, Calculus, and Trigonometry is her first book.
