Hasegawa, Yoko: - Yoko Hasegawa is Professor of Japanese Linguistics, in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research interests range over the great diversity of Japanese linguistics. Her publications include: Japanese: A Linguistic Introduction (Cambridge, 2014), Soliloquy in Japanese and English (2010) and Nihongo kara mita nihonjin: Shutaisei no gengogaku, with Yukio Hirose (2010).
