The Card by Graham Rawle

From Graham Rawle, author of 'the most wildly original novel produced in this country in the past decade... a work of genius' (The Times on Woman's World), comes a charming, surreal, visually stunning and utterly unforgettable new novel: The Card.
As emotionally affecting as it is intellectually nimble * The Times *
Packed with colourful characters and an idiosyncratic charisma * Independent *
The sort of paranoia-driven escapade Alfred Hitchcock would be proud of * Time Out *
The Card by Graham Rawle is engaging, thought-provoking, and at times laugh out loud funny * Manchester Evening News *
What a treasure we have in Graham Rawle * Scotsman *
There's a Jonathan Coe-like feel to this jolly but surprisingly moving account of an overactive mind troubled by boyhood heartache.. Rawle's charming illustrations aptly make his pun-packed trawl through pop-cultural history a collector's item itself. * Metro *
Sweet, amusing and moreish * Sunday Herald *
