Careers in Outer Space by Edward Willett
Space--the final frontier. There's an entire universe out there, to be explored and studied, and one in which there are numerous career possibilities. From learning about becoming an astronaut to information about more grounded jobs, this comprehensive volume dips into all aspects of space-related vocations. Of particular interest and excitement is the final chapter, The Future in Space, where young readers will learn about the mind-boggling career possibilities that may exist in space both sooner than we think and in the distant future.E.C.Blake, also known as Edward Willett, was born in New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment, and the nickname appears to have stuck with him: he began writing magical stories in elementary school and published his first fantasy work in high school. He's worked as a newspaper reporter and editorial cartoonist, a magazine editor, a writing instructor, and a professional actor, and has published more than 30 works of nonfiction, ranging from biographies to science books to history books (under another name), but fantasy has always been his first love. He and his wife now live in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, with their daughter, whose favorite stories all feature sword-fighting princesses. He, too, does it, come to think of it. His website is ecblake.com.
