A Cartoonist's Chronicle by Geoff Laws
Geoff Laws is one of the North East's best loved artists. For thirty-five years his cartoons and caricatures delighted and entertained readers of Newcastle's Evening Chronicle, The Journal and the Sunday Sun. This most enjoyable book brings together a selection of Geoff's finest work, from football to politics, along with his own story and his remarkable take on the personalities and events that made the headlines on Tyneside. 'Simply the best, bar none.' Simon Donald 'Thirty-five highly successful, award-winning, years.' Brian Aitken, Editor, The Journal, Newcastle 'I am delighted to see Geoff's work in this splendid book and trust that sales will keep him in seared scallops for a good while yet!' Paul Linford, Political Editor, The Journal, Newcastle
Geoff Laws graduated in 1969 with a degree in 3-D design.
