A Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor, she has specific training in Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to offer an integrated approach that meets the needs of her clients. Elizabeth Ventura PhD, LPC, NCCis a qualitative researcher, trauma specialist, and counselor educator. She serves on local panels in her area and is a consultant for school districts regarding the implementation of care for traumatized children and adolescents. Dr. Ventura is a Senior Core faculty member in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Department at Walden University and primarily specializes in teaching counseling techniques.
