For me, poetry is observational and emerges from personal experience. This book contains a selection of poems that I have written over the years - a kind of distillation of things I have seen that have moved me, interspersed with poems that I simply like. You may notice that a significant number of the poems are to do with various aspects of the ocean and the coast.
