This is the seventh book in the series, which follows the lives and adventures of the creatures living at Pug's Hole. The Granimal discovers that catching measles isn't as easy as he hoped - fortunately for him.
Christian Alexander was born in Vienna and was brought over to England by his parents at the start of World War II. He was educated at the Priory School in Shrewsbury, and after his A-levels, he obtained an Open Scholarship in Classics at Christ's College Cambridge. Later, he changed to Medicine, which had always been his ambition. After obtaining his science A-Levels, he studied for three years at Cambridge University and a further three years at St Thomas's Hospital in London. He qualified as a doctor in 1962 and wrote his first Granimal book whilst working as a Consultant Physician.
