Cath Kidston in Print by Cath Kidston
Tells you how to use prints in your home. This practical style book features a different vintage print with ideas as to how they can be used: a retro sixties spaceman print is used to upholster a trad desk chair, little polka dot cushions update a child's bedroom, and frilly gingham curtains are teamed with a delicate floral pelmet.
"Packed full of ideas it makes an ideal gift for anyone keen on sewing, or eager to peek inside the world of Cath Kidston" Country Living "...utterly gorgeous, full of lush, retro prints and little glimpses of houses you'd give your eye teeth for." The Observer"
Cath Kidston began her career as an interior designer and opened her first shop in London's Notting Hill in 1993, which featured old junk furniture and vintage fabrics. This passion for the past has shaped the Cath Kidston design vision, and the ability to translate this love into prints and modern images has allowed the company to grow while other trends come and go. In addition to her signature florals and spot print fabrics, Cath Kidston has developed a wide range of products in response to a growing demand. Everything from bags, cushions, t-shirts, nightwear and babygrows are all part of her ever-expanding product range. Cath has also published two previous books: Vintage Style and Tips for Vintage Style.
