Tony Wolf, a New Zealander who now lives in the United States, has had a thirty-five-year international career integrating martial and artistic arts. He has nine books to his credit, as well as several essays in journals, anthologies, websites, and encyclopedias. In the 2006 Joining Sword and Pen international playwriting competition, his script for the one-act play Satisfaction tied for first prize. Tony's combat choreography and action design have appeared in over 200 stage, movie, and video game projects, including the Lord of the Rings trilogy's cultural fighting styles design. He was a pioneer in motion capture action design and played a key role in the resurrection of bartitsu, a mixed martial art that dates back to the turn of the century.
