Cato's Letters by John Trenchard

Offering a glimpse inside the hearts and minds of violent youth felons, Real Time explores the reality of adolescent life in prison.
The 57-minute documentary follows minors in a California youth prison learning filmmaking and creating two short films. It comes from the first film crew allowed inside the compound that houses the system's youngest offenders.
As Real Time examines violent teenage crime, punishment and rehabilitation with a never before seen point-of-view, it has won critical acclaim and an audience constituency among people concerned about at-risk youth. This includes teenagers, parents, educators, social workers and people in both the law enforcement and juvenile justice communities.
At this prison complex, wards enter between the ages of eleven and seventeen and can stay until they are twenty-four, at which time thay are either moved to state or federal prison or they are released. These kids are incarcerated for various sex crimes, homicides, armed robbery and assault.
Ash, Harrison Boyd: - Harrison Boyd Ash (1891-1944) was Associate Professor of Classics at the University of Pennsylvania.
